Students of IT-like university courses may complete a compulsory or voluntary internship in our company. You will be assigned a task in the field of software development accompanied by a skilled mentor. A strong affinity for programming as well as knowledge of at least one modern programming language are required. We constantly offer internships so you can get started at any time. Furthermore, we gladly continue working with capable interns as student employees.
In agreement with the responsible thesis advisor we offer individual, relevant topics for bachelor- and master theses. Additionally we give counsel both in preparation and execution. it is always possible to start working on a final theses in cooperation with Flavia IT. However, a preceding internship would be necessary in order to assess one's personal technical and organizational abilities. But of course there may be exceptions to this rule.
Enthusiastic pupils may complete an internship in our company. Solid knowledge of (object oriented) programming is required however, due to the time-sensitive nature of the complex business solutions we solve using modern programming languages and organizational methods. According to our past experiences, regular school education is insufficient to fulfill the internship's requirements. Furthermore, we would recommend a long-term internship to gain an adequately broad and deep view. Applications will be considered at any time.
We offer a dual study program for ambitious students who want more practical experience in addition to their university education. This program consists of the acquisition of a bachelor's degree during a 7-semester study at a private, state-approved technical college while simultaneously working at Flavia. Not only will we bear the expenses for your studies but also guarantee employment following a good performance in the program. The dual study program always starts in fall, we will accept applications starting in April.
As an IHK-certified training company, Flavia IT offers a three-year training as IT specialist in application development. The training's duration may be shortened by half a year according to the trainee's performance. Apprenticeships will always begin in fall, applications will be accepted starting in April. Getting involved with the training's contents (specifically basics of application development) in preparation is highly recommended. Basic knowledge has always proven useful to this end. Provided ample success has been achieved, employment following the apprenticeship is aspired from our side.
